Jimmy & Lisa’s Vibrant Autumn Wedding

On the 16^th of May 2017 Jimmy and Lisa Magafas tied the knot in a beautiful autumn ceremony. The wedding was held 7 years exactly after Jimmy and Lisa went on their first date after being set up by Lisa’s best friend.

The ceremony was held at the Chapel Hill Retreat in Berambing, New South Wales. A sprawling country estate of 35 acres, the venue’s blooming autumn colours created a picturesque backdrop for the couple. The site overlooks the exquisite Blue Mountain Valley, lush with bushland and greenery, which creates a scenic nature setting. The pair held their ceremony in the location’s “Bush Cathedral”, their union perfectly framed by the building’s stunning and colourful stained-glass window. The small yet spectacular chapel was the perfect venue for Lia and Jimmy to hold their intimate wedding.

Lisa looked gorgeous in the Allure Romance 2864 Gown, purchased from Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal store in Wollongong, New South Wales. The gown, made from lace and tulle, features a softly scooped sweetheart neckline with intricate lace detailing on the back. Its mermaid silhouette and chapel length train combined with her elegant veil made Lisa look like a traditional bride with a modern twist.

Lisa’s hair and makeup was stylish and sophisticated, her fabulous up-do done by Nicole Lautier Hair, and makeup done by Sarah Anne Cocking. Lisa’s choice of a colourful yet minimalist bouquet was the perfect fit for the vibrant location with its beautiful autumn colour palette.

Alysha & Luke’s Lush Garden Wedding

“I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day than our wedding day.”

On the 20^th of October 2017, Alysha and Luke Ruhland were married in a lush garden ceremony. The pair were worried they would not be able to have their dream wedding – as the week before, it rained every day. But in a stroke of incredible luck, “the day before our wedding, the skies cleared up and we were able to have our fairy tale. Everything went smoothly… it was amazing”.

The couple met in 2010 and “connected instantly” and have been “inseparable” ever since. The ceremony was held at the Shangri La Gardens in Wynnum, Brisbane, the same venue Alysha’s mother had her wedding. The Shangri-La Gardens has been a Brisbane landmark since the 1960s, and features a beautiful tropical garden, where the couple held their ceremony. They then had their reception in the venue’s Regency Room.

Alysha wore the Allure Romance 2959 Bridal Gown, purchased from Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal in Capalaba. The ball-gown style dress evokes romance, and Alysha looked every bit the princess. The dress features a strapless, sweetheart neckline and a chapel length train. The scalloped lace applique on the bodice and hem adds an element of charm to the gown. Luke and his groomsmen also purchased their outfits from Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal in Capalaba. Danielle & Philip’s Church Wedding

“The bride and groom… are literally a match made in heaven, there is no two people better suited for each other.”

On the 26^th of November, 2016, Danielle and Philip Kominos were married in a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding, solidifying their seven year relationship. Danielle’s sister, Luisa, said “It was truly a fairy tale – from the gowns, right down to every little detail at the reception”.

The ceremony was held at the breathtaking Church of St. George in Thebarton, Adelaide. With its intricate architecture and sweeping windows, it was the perfect location to host a grand, reverent wedding. Luisa also said “Danielle had been dreaming of their wedding for multiple years and had always envisioned what it would be like, and it came up better than she ever expected”.

The reception was then held at the Donato Reception Centre. Located in Killkenny, Adelaide, Donato Reception Centre specialises in all kinds of events, and features a large dance-floor and a complimentary Bridal Retreat for the bridal party to relax in away from the crowds.

Danielle’s traditional ballgown turned her into a princess for the day. The lace bust and beaded waistline gave the dress a little bit of extra flair. Her impeccably chosen accessories were stunning, her hairpiece and earrings matching the beading on the gown. Danielle purchased her dress from Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal in Adelaide.

Philip looked exceptionally handsome in his three-piece suit. His combination of a white tie and waistcoat paired with a traditional suit was undeniably classy. Philip also purchased his outfit from Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal in Adelaide.

The bridesmaid’s and groomsmen also wore Ferrari. The women looked gorgeous in their simple, yet elegant gowns, and the men looked effortlessly sophisticated and refined in their suits.

Leonie & Jarryd’s Rustic Beach Wedding

“The day went so smoothly and to plan we were able to sit back and enjoy it, even though it flew by!”

On 9^th of December, 2016, a “beautiful, breezy, beachy summer’s day”, Jarryd and Leonie Thompson were married after 2 years of planning. After 3 years of dating, Jarryd proposed to Leonie at her “favourite place in the world”, a lookout on the South Coast. So naturally, the couple decided to combine their love for nature with each other in a stunning rustic beach style wedding.

There ceremony was held at Sandon Point Reserve, Bulli. Located just outside of Woolongong, the lookout offers breathtaking views of the Bulli Tops and Sandon Point Beach. Leonie said her favourite part of the day was “seeing Jarryd as I walked down the aisle with all my guests smiling at me and the ocean breeze blowing through my hair while my dad was muttering jokes in my ear to stop the nerves.”

The reception was then held at City Beach Function Centre in Woolongong. Situated on the beachfront of City Beach and near the Woolongoing Head Lighthouse, it was the perfect location for the couple to celebrate their marriage in style.

Leonie wore the Allure Bridals 8862 wedding gown, bought from the Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal store. Floating and airy, the ball gown style dress was the perfect choice for the couple’s rustic beach theme. The layered organza skirt evokes the image of waves on a beach, and the Swarovski crystal and pearl brooch accent resembles coral or a starfish. Emeline & Shane’s Rustic Wedding

“Our wedding truly was the most perfect day of our lives.”

In a gorgeous rustic wedding, Emeline and Shane Dechavez were married on the 17^th of January 2017. “Our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be. An amazing day with our close family and friends filled with love. So many people travelled from around Australia and internationally to be there with us and celebrate.”

Emeline and Shane first became acquainted as business partners, but shortly after the pair started dating and “fell madly in love”. “We strengthened each other and made us want to be better people for each other”. Their wedding truly represented the romance of the pair’s relationship. The ceremony was held at Gabbinbar Homestead, a private country estate used exclusively for weddings, located in Toowoomba. The beautiful outdoor garden ceremony reflected the meaning of the estate’s name, an Aboriginal word for “peaceful place”.

Emeline said “The service was fantastic and made finding my perfect dress a lot easier than I thought it would be. The fit hugs the figure before flaring out, drawing attention to the train. It’s most gorgeous feature is the embroidered lace applique that gives the dress unique detail. Emeline looked stunningly sophisticated in the dress, like a modern-day princess.

Emeline’s bridesmaids also looked stunning in their gold sequenced gowns, adding a bit of glitz and glamour to the rustic country setting. Shane also looked dashing in a navy suit, the perfect counterpart to Emeline. Emeline said: “We were so excited to just spend the rest of our lives together and one day start a family of our own. Janelle & Kieran’s Country Wedding

“We were most excited… to see all of our family and friends and share our special date with them.”

After a year-long engagement, Janelle and Kieran Scouller were married on the 1^st of October 2016, in a traditional outdoor country wedding. Although it nearly didn’t go according to plan – “We had a couple of very wet days leading up to our day and it was a close call to be able to have our ceremony outside as we had planned. Thankfully the clouds cleared and the sun began to shine though just as we were saying out vows. It couldn’t have been any more perfect.”

The couple had their ceremony and reception at The Beekeepers Inn, in Vittoria, New South Wales. The inn, originally built in 1859, is a charming hideaway location that boasts its own brewery and honey making business. It was the perfect setting for a down-to-earth, country style wedding.

Janelle looked stunning in her traditional, ball-gown style wedding dress. She wore the Allure Bridal Woman W324 gown, purchased from Ferrari Formalwear and Bridal. Made of lace and organza, the Queen Anne neckline and keyhole back is undeniably regal, while the gathered skirt and court-length train creates an airy softness to the gown. Janelle flawless styled the gown with a beautiful veil, pearls and a lovely up-do.

Janelle said that her and Kieran’s first date was “a bit of a fizzer, however we continued to talk and visit each other and became close.” The pair looked immensely happy to finally tie the knot, and cement that closeness while continuing on their journey together.

Jess & Christopher’s Romantic Wedding

“We are still each other’s best friends.”

The 15^th of September, 2017 saw two intertwining families united into one after an unexpected journey of surprises and romance. Jess and Christopher Wolfe first met in 2010 at Jess’s brother’s 21^st birthday, and while the two hit it off, the timing was not meant to be. But little did they know they would end up married and with a 10-month-old son, Benjamin, 7 years later.

The couple didn’t start their relationship straight away, as due to Christopher’s job in the army, he was based in Darwin. But after reconnecting at the same brother’s wedding in 2016, the rest was history. The pair were married in a stylish and classy ceremony at St Bernard’s Hotel in Mt. Tamborine. A stunning location in Mount Tamborine, the location offers picturesque gardens and beautiful views. It was made even more stunning by the gorgeous decorating done by Jess and Christopher themselves.

Jess looked incredibly glamorous in the EK1022 Bridal Gown, purchased at the Ferrari Formalwear and Bridal store in Underwood. Jess and Christopher’s relationship is one worthy of a Hollywood Romance, and their wedding day perfectly reflected their story.

Tash & Luke’s Traditional Wedding

“We waited for… so long to have our fairy-tale wedding, we will never forget it.”

On the 14^th of October, 2017, high school sweethearts Luke and Tash Koliopoulos were married in a beautiful, traditional ceremony.

The pair were wed at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Adelaide. The historic site, having been built over 100 years ago, was the perfect location for the Koliopoulos’ traditional wedding. The reception was then held at the Rossini Function Centre at the Marche Club, in a tasteful and classy end to the day.

Stepping out of the chapel, Tash really did look like a princess with her prince charming, straight out of a fairy-tale. When asked about what the best part of her special day was, Tash said “I was most excited about my dress. I just wanted to get it on on the day as I thought it was so beautiful.”

Tash looked incredibly graceful in the Allure Romance 2765 Bridal Gown. Made of English net and sparkling tulle, and featured a Swarovski crystal waist belt, the gown exudes ‘royalty’. Its sweetheart neckline and full-length chapel style train makes it a dress that little girls dream of for their wedding days. The whole day came together to make Tash into a princess from a fantasy. They looked incredibly happy as a newlywed couple, and ready to embark on their journey as husband and wife.

Krysten & Joshua’s Water-Front Wedding

“Our wedding day was something we had looked forward too for a very long time but it was worth the wait. It was an absolute dream come true!”

On the 23^rd of June, 2017, Krysten and Joshua Mulholland tied the knot in a gorgeous water-front wedding after being together for four years. The weather did not disappoint, being beautifully sunny for the couple’s happy day right near the water.

The pair were married at the spectacular Cherbon Waters, Burbank, located a short distance from the Brisbane CBD. The location offers a stunning gazebo for the ceremony, overlooking the water. It gave the Mulholland’s wedding a breezy and relaxed atmosphere. The traditionally styled reception was then held at the Pacific Resort, Cleaveland. It featured a scrumptious looking cake by Maydennison Cakes and Crafts and a lolly buffet by The Party Cart, as well as a breathtaking white rose flower wall by LUXE Flower Wall Hire. “Our wedding day was something we had looked forward too for a very long time but it was worth it! Everything was perfect and it truly took my breath away. We loved the everything about it!”

Krysten wore the Allure Bridal 8917 gown, bought from the Ferrari Formalwear and Bridal store in Maroochydore, Queensland. Made from delicate lace appliqué, the gown radiates class. The slim-fitting A-line silhouette with sweep-length train creates a stunning image alongside the ruched waistband and Swarovski crystal details.

Accessorised with a long, flowing veil, and flawless hair and makeup by Shahzada Pearson and Jessamine Pittar, Krysten looked positively regal. Completing the look was a wonderful bouquet of white roses done by Elizabeth Rose Bridal.

Of course, Joshua looked just as much the part, incredibly dashing and ready to sweep Krysten off her feet.

To top it all off, the cars (hired from Golden Gate Limos and Luxury Rides, Gold Coast) and bridal party were fit for royalty. The bridesmaids looked particularly stunning in white fur shawls.

Krysten said “We were most excited to see all of our planning all come together on our special day, but most importantly, we were most excited about becoming husband and wife!”.

Amy & Oliver’s Rustic Woodland Wedding

“It was great to have all of our family and friends together to celebrate the day.”

In a low-key and casual ceremony, Amy and Oliver Clare were married on the 13^th of August 2017. The wedding was beautifully put together in a rustic theme, with the décor and venue creating a whimsical woodland atmosphere.

The couple were married at The Boomerang Farm in Mudgeeraba. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony on a gloriously sunny day that took place at the Rainforest Chapel. The Chapel, with its rainforest backdrop – which included an old tree-house – looked straight out of a fairy-tale.

The reception was then held at The Barn. The rustic design of bare wood and twinkling fairy lights was a wonderful place to end the enchanted day. Amy said “The venue was perfect and the cupcakes were delicious.”

There were beautiful flower arrangements done by The Flower Crew in Loganholme, Brisbane. The ceremony even featured a special little furry friend.

Amy looked stunning on the day, as if she was a princess in a Disney movie herself. She wore the MJ170 dress from the Ferrari Formal and Bridalwear store in Bundal.

The ballgown style dress is made of English net and embellished with Swarovski crystals on the bust. It features a court length train and a jewel neckline. Amy accessorised with a gorgeous, long veil and an elegant up-do to create a floaty, traditional bridal look. The veil was actually borrowed from Amy’s mother, which gave the outfit a special, sentimental touch.

Oliver also wore Ferrari, looking suave in the pure wool Daniel Hechter Cannes suit, hired from the same store. The suit features two button closure, notch lapel and jacket pockets with a satin trim, and matching flat front trousers. Oliver also wore the matching shirt, tie and vest. He looked sleek and smart, the perfect match to Amy’s romantic look.

The pair looked amazing as they began their journey as husband and wife. Amy said “I can’t think of a favourite thing about the day because the whole thing was amazing and the photos will stand as a great reminder for the rest of our lives.”
