Emeline & Shane’s Rustic Wedding

“Our wedding truly was the most perfect day of our lives.”

In a gorgeous rustic wedding, Emeline and Shane Dechavez were married on the 17^th of January 2017. “Our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be. An amazing day with our close family and friends filled with love. So many people travelled from around Australia and internationally to be there with us and celebrate.”

Emeline and Shane first became acquainted as business partners, but shortly after the pair started dating and “fell madly in love”. “We strengthened each other and made us want to be better people for each other”. Their wedding truly represented the romance of the pair’s relationship. The ceremony was held at Gabbinbar Homestead, a private country estate used exclusively for weddings, located in Toowoomba. The beautiful outdoor garden ceremony reflected the meaning of the estate’s name, an Aboriginal word for “peaceful place”.

Emeline wore the Allure Bridals 9257 wedding dress, bought from the Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal store in Underwood. Emeline said “The service was fantastic and made finding my perfect dress a lot easier than I thought it would be. I got out of my comfort zone with what I thought I wanted and found a dress I fell in love with and never would have chosen.”

Modern with some traditional elements, the gown boasts a sweetheart neckline, chapel length train and a mermaid style silhouette. The fit hugs the figure before flaring out, drawing attention to the train. It’s most gorgeous feature is the embroidered lace applique that gives the dress unique detail. Emeline looked stunningly sophisticated in the dress, like a modern-day princess.

Emeline’s bridesmaids also looked stunning in their gold sequenced gowns, adding a bit of glitz and glamour to the rustic country setting. Shane also looked dashing in a navy suit, the perfect counterpart to Emeline. Emeline said: “We were so excited to just spend the rest of our lives together and one day start a family of our own. We have so many plans for the future and are so excited to see where it takes us. Now we just want to spend every moment together and go through all experiences life has to offer.”
