Amy & Oliver’s Rustic Woodland Wedding

“It was great to have all of our family and friends together to celebrate the day.”

In a low-key and casual ceremony, Amy and Oliver Clare were married on the 13^th of August 2017. The wedding was beautifully put together in a rustic theme, with the décor and venue creating a whimsical woodland atmosphere.

The couple were married at The Boomerang Farm in Mudgeeraba. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony on a gloriously sunny day that took place at the Rainforest Chapel. The Chapel, with its rainforest backdrop – which included an old tree-house – looked straight out of a fairy-tale.

The reception was then held at The Barn. The rustic design of bare wood and twinkling fairy lights was a wonderful place to end the enchanted day. Amy said “The venue was perfect and the cupcakes were delicious.”

There were beautiful flower arrangements done by The Flower Crew in Loganholme, Brisbane. The ceremony even featured a special little furry friend.

Amy looked stunning on the day, as if she was a princess in a Disney movie herself. She wore the MJ170 dress from the Ferrari Formal and Bridalwear store in Bundal.

The ballgown style dress is made of English net and embellished with Swarovski crystals on the bust. It features a court length train and a jewel neckline. Amy accessorised with a gorgeous, long veil and an elegant up-do to create a floaty, traditional bridal look. The veil was actually borrowed from Amy’s mother, which gave the outfit a special, sentimental touch.

Oliver also wore Ferrari, looking suave in the pure wool Daniel Hechter Cannes suit, hired from the same store. The suit features two button closure, notch lapel and jacket pockets with a satin trim, and matching flat front trousers. Oliver also wore the matching shirt, tie and vest. He looked sleek and smart, the perfect match to Amy’s romantic look.

The pair looked amazing as they began their journey as husband and wife. Amy said “I can’t think of a favourite thing about the day because the whole thing was amazing and the photos will stand as a great reminder for the rest of our lives.”
