Roxy + Gil’s Wedding

Roxy and Gil were engaged on Valentine’s Day 2015 at a romantic dinner at The Terrace Seafood Restaurant Maleny. “I was presented with a beautiful white gold diamond solitaire ring designed by himself at The Vault Noosa” said Roxy of Gil’s proposal.

7 months later on 26 September 2015, Roxy & Gil married at the Forest Sanctuary in Forest Glen QLD. Roxy described the venue as “a lovely rustic little cabin nestled in the rainforest with lush landscapes and dams”.

We spent a few romantic nights at half moon hideaway Maleny after our wedding before honeymooning at Daydream Island in the Whitsundays.

When asked about their favourite part of the day, Roxy replied “our favourite part of our day was officially becoming man and wife, and having our three children as page boys to celebrate with us. Everything about our day was unique to us from my mum making my wedding dress, the antique cameo brooch passed down generations of brides I wore to the shark toppers on top of our wedding cake to reflect Gil’s love of sharks”.

“Ferrari at Maroochydore were invaluable to us through our wedding planning. Ana was amazing with both the boys suits and the girls gowns and nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank-you so much”.

The beautiful bridesmaids wore Allure Bridesmaids Style 1431 in light pink.

Roxy’s beautiful wedding dress was made by her mum for their Rustic Vintage Themed wedding.

“After 11 years together and three beautiful children it was a beautiful, emotional day with close family and friends”.
