When Adelaide pair Laura Mitchell and Ashley Thompson married, it was not only about their union, but the coming together of their two young families. The pair wed at Bethany Lutheran church in South Australia’s Barossa Valley in front of 130 friends and family.

Their farm wedding reception followed at the Maggie Beer Farm & Function Centre in Nurioopta, where fine food was of course a feature.

“Our wedding was simple, elegant and most importantly honest,” Laura says.
