Joel + Jaylene’s Wedding

On March 15 2016,  Joel and Jaylene wed at The Hilton on Denarau Island in Fiji. The reception, which was also at the Hilton, took place on the  beach overlooking the ocean and beautiful islands.

Joel and Jaylene who have been together for 6 years have a handsome 1.5 year old boy called Archer, who they describe as “our whole world”. Jaylene said her favourite part of the wedding was “that we were married in Fiji! A breathtaking paradise where we will always treasure our island memories”.

“Everything was organised by myself and Pooja from a wedding company in Fiji called ‘Paradise Bride’. We had a Fijian tropical flower set up for the ceremony and I had White orchids as my bouquet.
I had a wonderful solo guitarist singing ‘somewhere over the rainbow’ as I walked down the tropical aisle. This guy brought tears to everyone’s eyes.”

Jaylene’s beautiful bridal gown was converted from a strapless gown into a halter dress for something completely different and unique. “Vanessa from ‘Ferrari Formalwear and Bridal’ at Aspley QLD was an absolute Angel. Making sure everything was perfect” said Jaylene of organising her wedding gown.

Jaylene is wearing a Madison James bridal gown with a sweetheart neckline which she had converted from a strapless gown to a halter neck dress . The stunning champagne colour looked beautiful against Jaylene’s soft skin tones.

“I am so blessed to have found my soul mate” said Jaylene of meeting Joel.

We had 16 people join us for the entire week and it was absolutely perfect in every way. My dream wedding with my soulmate and closest friends and family.
