On the 2nd of December, 2016, Belinda and Tristan Black tied the knot at the Outpost Retreat in Noojee, Victoria. A beautiful yet modest outdoor ceremony, the weather on the day made Belinda glow.
The pair wanted a fairly relaxed and casual wedding, and The Outpost Retreat was the perfect location. A historic location, full of rustic charm, The Outpost Retreat has an award-winning restaurant and a bar full of local paraphernalia. The surrounding countryside is lush and picturesque, the gorgeous greens bright in the sunlight, which created a stunning backdrop for Belinda and Tristan’s ceremony.
Belinda chose the MJ170 Madison James Bridal Gown, which she bought from the Ferrari Formalwear and Bridal store in Narre Warren. It is a floor length, tulle dress with a ball gown silhouette, a cinched waistline and jewel-style neckline. The gown features exquisite detailing of Swarovski beading on the bust and a button-down back. She wore a long veil and accessorising with simple but elegant jewellery. It fit perfectly in against the backdrop of the traditional countryside location.
Belinda said “I always wanted to look like a princess on my wedding day and this dress did that for me!” And, indeed, the couple look as if they were straight out of a fairy tale – just like Cinderella and her Prince Charming.
Belinda and the rest of her bridal party complemented each other in navy and white. The flower girls looked adorable in their matching white dresses with navy details, reflecting colours of the sophisticated dresses of the bridesmaids and bride. The flower bouquets, made by Desflora, were a gorgeous array of soft pastels expertly put together.
Tristan also looked extremely charming in his tuxedo and matching cream silk tie and pocket square.
Belinda said her and Tristan’s wedding day was “truly perfect”.
